We are trying to get the message out there that there is so much more to ghyll scrambling than you may have seen on Countryfile. This ghyll is situated in a truly wild place, but not too hard to get to, with no signs of civilisation once we have walked in.

As if that's not enough if you've got the energy to go the full length of the ghyll we top out with a view of England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike.

In our opinion it's the best ghyll in the UK It really is the real deal ! If you've tried ghyll scrambling before or want to jump in at the deep end this is the option for you.
