So you know what to bring and what we'll supply.

Wet ghyll scramble

Please arrive with:
  • Swimwear or a change of underwear - you will get wet. 
  • A 'T' shirt/vest & long sleeved top
  • Old shorts to wear over your wetsuit
  • Footwear - these will get wet and need to protect your feet. Old boots or wellies are ideal. (trainers are not recommended)
  • Thick Socks
  • Towel

We will provide

  •  a waterproof spray top, wetsuit, helmet, buoyancy aid.

 

what ghyll scramblers wear

 In colder weather, or if you feel the cold, please add:

  • 2-3 long sleeved layers or a fleece
  • 2 pairs of thick socks
  • A thin warm hat

Please remove any jewellry before ghyll scrambling.

Dry Ghyll Scramble

 Please arrive with:

  • Trousers 
  • Waterproof trousers
  • A long sleeved top
  • Footwear - these will get wet and need to protect your feet. Boots or Wellies are ideal.
  • Complete change of clothes including underwear
  • Towel

We will provide a waterproof spray top, helmet and any technical euwiopment such as a harness.

In colder weather, or if you feel the cold, please add:
